Homeward Bound
We are a community of knitters making one-of-a-kind scarves for those in need during the cold winter months.
Why Homeward Bound? Wandering soldiers of the US civil war would identify themselves with these simple words, trying to make their way home after the war ended. This is a proposed origin of the word hobo.
'Home' can be anywhere these days. It can mean being on the move or in a fixed place. But the journey doesn't have to feel so long with a little warmth and support, from one community to another.
